US Ambassador Reuben Brigety Offers Apology to South Africa

The United States of America ambassador to South Africa Reuben Brigety apologised for his accusations against South Africa.

He met with South African Minister of Foreign Affairs Naledi Pandor over his public remarks regarding South Africa and Russia relations.

Brigety accused South Africa of providing arms to Russia in its ongoing war with Ukraine. He said a Russian vessel Lady R left Simon’s Town in South Africa with arms in 2022.
