Thabo Bester Has Never Had an ID says Home Affairs Minister

The Minister of Home Affairs Aaron Motsoaledi confirmed that Thabo Bester was not registered in the Home Affairs system.

He has no registered national identity card or passport. The Facebook r_apist and murderer also used different names.

When Thabo Bester and his partner Dr Nandipha Magudumana were arrested in Tanzania they had multiple passports in their possession.

Bester escaped from Mangaung Maximum prison in Bloemfontein in May last year.

He had been sentenced to life imprisonment for r_aping two women and murdering one of them.
