Rapper AKA’s Tombstone Was Not Stolen

There has been rumours circulating on social media that rapper Kiernan Forbes aka AKA’s tombstone was stolen.

AKA passed away on the 10th of February 2023 in Durban and was laid to rest on the 18th of February 2023 in Johannesburg.

It has been revealed that his tombstone was never stolen but removed and taken back to the stone marson as it could not be installed the same day as the burial.

According to Citizens publication, Operations Manager at Authentic Stones Josh verified the whereabouts of the stone.

The family is aware that the tombstone was removed, it was only there on Saturday for the unveiling.

A concrete wall must be constructed in the grave before installing the stone in order to prevent it from sinking into the ground.
