Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates legend John Moeti has reportedly passed away. The soccer star passed away at his home in the early hours of February the 6th 2023.
The 55 year old passed away after a long battle with an undisclosed illness. The footballer has been ill for the past 8 months. He has been receiving specialist medical care since then.
He was part of the team that won the 1995 CAF Champions League and 1996 Cup of Nations for Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana respectively.
Our deepest condolences to his family and friends, may his soul rest in eternal peace. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
