Popular Barcadi musician Vusi Ma R5, reportedly passed away on the 30th of January 2023 after being shoy by unknown assailants.
Vusi Ma R5 who was also known as the Barcadi King was shot dead in Soshanguve M17, Pretoria. He was performing at Majents Social Club.
People from all corners of Mzansi gathered in Mabopane to pay their last respects to the late musician.
Roads were closed and vehicles had to be controlled as mourners tried to reach his home street while others wanted to watch the convoy of cars carrying his remains.
Mourners who spoke at the funeral called on the police to act swiftly in busting criminals as many lives were being lost unnecessarily.
His death follows that of Oupa John Sefoka aka DJ Sumbody who was also shot dead while on his way to a performance.
