Shaka Zulu’s Family Clashes With Nomzamo Mbatha and Crew at Queen Nandi’s Grave Site

Nomzamo Mbatha is playing the role of late Queen Nandi, the mother of King Shaka Zulu on the upcoming series Shaka Ilembe.

Shaka Zulu’s family clashed with Nomzamo Mbatha and the crew. It is alleged that the situation got physical after the actress and crew visited Queen Nandi’s grave site.

The visit was part of the shooting of the series, unfortunately this angered the family. The family allegedly tried to chase the cast crew away from the site.

The family had not authorised the cast and crew to visit the late Queen’s grave site.

It was revealed that permission to visit must be given by the Chief in the area and not doing so might lead to offenders being punished. The series will start airing in 2023.
