President Cyril Ramaphosa is heading home after cutting his US trip short due to crisis at home.

He met U.S President Joe Biden and Deputy President Kamala Harris in Washington D.C last week.

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor will take over some of his engagements abroad.

Ramaphosa is currently in London attending the burial of the late British Queen Elizabeth II, who will be buried today.

The President was supposed to fly back to New York in the USA to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

Ramaphosa is heading home to deal with the power crisis as the power utility Eskom implements severe massive load shedding.
