The Defence lawyers in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial have accused witness Tumelo Madlala of having selective amnesia.
They also want to know how much he was paid to appear in the popular Netflix documentary about the slain soccer star’s death.
Madlala was Senzo Meyiwa’s best friend and he was also one of the seven people in the house when the soccer star was shot.
Madlala has been appearing in the Pretoria High Court this week to give his testimony. The defence has been cross examining him and they are trying to discredit him as a witness.

Advocate T. Thobane said Madlala was evasive with his answers and that he has selective amnesia.
