This Is Why Velile Makhoba (Gugu) is Leaving Gomora

After a lot of speculation it has been confirmed that Gomora actress Velile Makhoba was leaving the show.

Velile was famous for playing the role of Gugu on the show. The actress told Daily Sun that her role came to an end because she had a one year contract.

She said her character lost relevance following the departure of Ama Qamatha who played Buhle and Buyile Madlala who played Phumulane.

The actress said leaving Gomora was a bitter sweet moment for her because it was her first acting gig.
