Eskom Proposed New Tariffs, No R900 Levy for Solar Users

ENCA NEWS reported on the current proposed new tariffs by Eskom. South Africa like many other African countries is currently grappling with power shortages.

The power utility, Eskom introduced intense load shedding that has disrupted daily livelihoods, industry, agriculture amongst many other sectors of the economy.

Eskom has proposed new power tariffs which left many confused especially those who use solar.

It has been revealed that solar users will not be paying the R900 power levy. Those with solar and battery systems can now sell excess energy to Eskom.
