ENCA NEWS reported that atleast thirteen people were left dead at a tavern in Soweto yesterday night.
The deceased were shot dead at Nomzamo Tavern, four people are in critical condition at Bara Hospital.
Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela confirmed the incident.
Mawela told the media that the people were just having beers while others were playing pool when assiliants came in and shot at them randomly.

It is believed the deceased are aged between 19 years to 35 years old.
The tragedy comes as South Africans are still mourning the passing of 21 youngsters who passed away at Enyobeni tavern in Scenery Park in East London.
