ENCA NEWS reported that the body of missing Soweto boy Khayalethu Magadla has been found.

The six year old was missing for two weeks, he was playing with his friends in Dlamini when he fell into an open manhole.

Magadla’s body was found in one of the three pipes leading out of the sewer split chamber towards the water treatment plant in Eldorado Park.

The body was identified as Khaya’s by his family who were called to the scene.

Rescuers from Johannesburg’s ems, and Joburg water, searched for weeks moving from one man hole to another as they struggled to locate the body.

The family has almost lost all hopes of ever finding Khayalethu. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Our deepest condolences to his family.
