Another case of corruption and money laundering was opened against President Cyril Ramaphosa in KwaZuluNatal.

This after former spy boss Arthur Fraser opened a case against President Cyril Ramaphosa at Rosebank police station accusing him of concealing a crime, Kidnapping and money laundering.

Money stashed in mattresses and couches at Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm was stolen in 2020. Ramaphosa said the money came from selling animals at his farm.

It is believed Ramaphosa captured the suspects, interrogated them and paid them to keep their silence without reporting the matter to the police.

However one of the bidders told the media that the sales were not made in cash. He said one can not carry R400 000 to pay a deposit.

According to sources at the state security agency, millions of Botswana Pula were also at the Phala Phala farm.

The money is linked to a 2019 bid involving South Africans aimed at toppling the current Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi.
