Six South African Music Awards (Samas) that belong to songstress Zahara were stolen at her secure estate in Roodepoort this week.

Zahara whose real name is Bulelwa Mkutukana, opened a case of house robbery at the Honeydew Police station on Friday.

The Loliwe hitmaker told the media that she realised that her Awards were missing when she returned from Eastern Cape where she had a tour to celebrate her 11 years in the industry.

The songstress revealed that the Awards meant more to her than money because they reflect on her musical journey.

Zahara has more than 25 Awards under her name, these include 17 Samas, three Metro FM Awards, an award from USA, and another from Nigeria.

She said she has been living at the estate for ten years but there has never been any break-in before. However she suspects her neighbours with whom she has been feuding with.
