Khanyi Mbau and Mondli Makhoba’s S_ex Scene Might Send Them to Jail

The South African Film and Publication Board (FPB) is investigating Showmax series The Wife following a racy s_ex scene between Khanyi Mbau and Mondli Makhoba.

Khanyi and Mondli play the roles of Zandile and Nkosana Zulu on the show. The scene trended on social media and was shared across many platforms.

FPB will investigate if the graphic scene violated the broadcasting laws of the Films and Publication Amendment Act 11 of 2019.

The board will also be reviewing the show’s classification rating on that episode. The show carries the VSNL and a restriction age of below 16.
