Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest Will Go Ahead As Planned

Following Riky Rick’s sudden death, Cotton Fest goers will have to wait for one more month before they can sing and dance to their favourite songs.

It has been confirmed by the Cotton Fest team that the two day sold out event has been postponed to April 23-24 in Newtown, Johannesburg.

The late hip-hop star, Riky Rick created the Cotton Festival in order to bring together both well-known and young emerging musicians.

Bianca Naidoo, who is Riky Rick’s widow said the Cotton Fest will go ahead as planned. She said this is a way to keep Riky Rick’s legacy and spirit alive.

Riky Rick committed suicide on the 23rd of February 2022. He was found hanging at his Johannesburg home by his management.
