Former Jam Alley presenter and musician Thato Mahlatsi was arrested last week by Community Police Forum members in Orlando East, Soweto for impersonating a soldier.

The rapper however will not be prosecuted for wearing a full military uniform. Mahlatsi was one of the people behind musician Jub Jub’s hit song “Ndikhokhele.”

After the arrest Mahlatsi was handed over to Diepkloof police. He had to spend the weekend behind prison bars. The arrest was confirmed by Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele.

The police revealed that this was not the first time that Mahlatsi was spotted wearing a military uniform.
