The father of Flavio Hlabangwane, the Soweto man who was found with the body parts of his cousin wife, Tsepang Pitse, in his freezer, has spoken our for the first time.

Paul Hlabangwane told the Sowetan newspaper that he lives close to Flavio, but had never been to his house and did not know that he was married.

Paul said Flavio’s mother, Grace, booted him out of the house after he lost his job in 2012. This is the same year in which Flavio was in Matric.

Paul said after the break up, he would only be allowed to see Flavio at the park opposite Grace’s house as he was not allowed inside.

When the Sowetan went back to Grace Hlabangwane ‘s house, she refused to talk to them.

Paul said he will be at court to observe the proceedings when Flavio appears today. He said if Flavio killed Tsepang, he should face the consequences.
