Pearl Modiade sued for R1, 6 Million

City Press reports that former Metro FM host, Pearl Modiade (33), is being sued for R1, 6 Million by former Metro FM manager, Anthony Soglo.

The newspaper says Soglo, who was implicated by Pearl in her R3. 5 Million lawsuit against Metro FM, for sending her an abusive email, is denying the allegations.

Soglo said in his papers that SABC withdrew a five year contract of R1. 1 Million a year, which they had offered him on 3 June 2021, after Pearl’s allegations surfaced.

Soglo was supposed to start his job on 1 July. He said he had to attend counseling sessions after the story broke.
