The DStv Premiership has been fighting with the owner of Royal AM Shauwn Mkhize. The PSL slammed the flamboyant businesswoman with a R1.6 million fine for bringing prayers’ winning bonuses on to the pitch.

This all happened after Royal AM beat Pietermaritzburg United 3-1. The charges were broken down and allocated to each of the four respondents.

The club was fined R500 000 for attempting to award players cash in front of the media. A sum of R250 000 was suspended on the condition that they did not commit the same offence over a specific period.

Royal AM was fined R100 000 while R5 000 was added by the PSL because the players came late from their changing rooms.

Andile Mpisane was fined R500 000 but it was suspended on the condition that he does not commit the same offence over a specific period.

He was fined R7500 for not wearing a mask all the time and Shauwn Mkhize was fined the same amount for the same offence.

Royal AM will not pay all the fines after pleading guilty and reaching an agreement with the football governing body.
