The commander of AmaZulu warriors Mgiliji Nhleko has passed away. According to Injenje yabeNguni council Nhleko passed away on Monday.
He is known for leading Zulu traditional warriors during high profile traditional ceremonies. Nhleko has been unwell for the past few months.
In July Nhleko was dismissed by the Traditional Council presiding over his area of Nongoma after participating in former President Jacob Zuma’s protests in Nkandla.
He was reinstated after apologising to the local council. Nhleko was described as a brave warrior. Our condolences to his family and friends, may his soul rest in eternal peace.
