It is rumoured that reality tv star Shauwn Mkhize has put up an offer to buy Eskom. This was revealed on social media but the businesswoman has not confirmed this herself.

Shauwn Mkhize is a popular businesswoman who made her way into tv screens by becoming a reality tv star through her show KwamamMkhize.

The largest shareholder of the power utility, Eskom is the South African government. Thus the chances of Shauwn Mkhize buying Eskom are too small.
