Prison, tlof tlof and being absent from his father’s funeral are some of the things actor Israel Zulu shared with MacG on this week’s episode of MacG’s podcast and chill.
Israel shocked MacG and his co-host when he told them that he can celibate for six months. “I can survive for six months or a year, I stayed for four years, I’m not tlof tlof crazy”, he told them.
The actor who was arrested 5 to 7 times when he was 18 also talked about his father who he never knew until he was 14. He was raised by his grandmother and aunts.
The Gomora actor said his father was a hero, a good guy who unfortunately did not have the world on his side so instead Israel was raised by a step father who used to beat him for no reason.
Israel went further to say he became his own father ever since he was eleven years old. He also said when his father died he did not attend the funeral and does not regret it
