Prince Kaybee took some time off his busy schedule to join the #NationalShutdown protests.

Mzansi university students are protesting this week as they face exclusion from various institutions due their recurring debts from 2020.

The award-winning musician took to the street and joined scores of students who are demanding free education. The star protested with the students from the University of Johannesburg on Monday, 15 March.

He took to Instagram and shared that he is inspired by the level of courage shown by the students marching for free education.

A tweep at @NyikoBaloti_ took to Twitter and shared a clip of the star mingling with students after one of them was allegedly shot by cops. The tweep captioned the post:

“@PrinceKaybee_SA doing the Lord’s work. I hope she gets the medical attention that she requires and be healed. Thank you for offering your transport and support. Talk about being at the right place at the right time.”

The star also took to the micro-blogging app to reply to @NyikoBaloti_. He said:

“She was shot right in front of me, it’s the least I could do.”
