Actor and musician Big Zulu has come out saying that he will not entertain Somizi Mhlongo who recently criticised his hit song Imali Eningi.
Somizi criticised the song when he was the MC at the KZN Entertainment Awards held in Durban on the 15th of December 2020.
The Idols SA Judge said that he did not relate to the song whose singer says he wants a lot of money.
Mhlongo said he already has a large sum of money and thus he felt the song discriminated against the likes of him.
Furthermore, Somizi asked Mzansi artists to compose songs that included everyone and not separate people according to their financial status.
Imali Eningi now has 3 million views on YouTube and it has become a hit following the Duduzane Zuma Walk Challenge.
“What Somizi said was his opinion and I will not entertain him. I will not talk about someone when they are not present as he did”, said Big Zulu.
He continued: “I want to confront and tell him what I think about his criticism. I don’t have a problem with him and I will address him when we meet”.
