Senzo Robert Meyiwa was born on 24 January 1984 in Durban.
He played as a goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates and the South African national team.
Meyiwa made his debut for South Africa on 2 June 2013 in a 2–0 away victory against Lesotho.

He also earned a total of seven international caps with six clean sheets.
Senzo was shot and killed in a robbery in the house of his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo on 26 October 2014.
