Sunday world reports that popular comedian, Leon Shuster, is being sued for R870 000 after failing to pay for a luxury apartment , when he already signed the offer to purchase.

Shuster had agreed to buy the luxurious apartment and its contents, located at Pearl Tides, KZN, for a total R9 140 000.

The apartment was eventually sold by its owners for R8 700 000 to a different buyer after they cancelled the agreement with Schuster.

The sellers, RJ Stringfellow Family Trust, are now demanding R873 000 from Schuster, being: levies R73 000, interest R400 000 and the loss on the sale price which is R400 000.

Shuster reportedly wrote the sellers’ lawyers, asking them to provide more documents.
