The actress divorced her first husband of 15 years in 2017. She is now dating Mlungisi Duncan who is also an actor and has appeared on Uzalo.

The mother of five has taken to Instagram to appreciate her man who has been by her side through thick and thin. She posted a picture of herself and Mlungisi.
The picture was captioned, “Through the thickest of things”.
Mlungisi has been there, supporting Dawn Thandeka, from her winning an award for best lead actress to her celebrating her birthday.
