Cobriz From The River Speaks Out After Being Arrested For Assaulting His Wife.

Cobriz from The River, whose real name is Presley Chweneyagae finally came out to speak after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife.

Presley was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife after she refused to give him car keys in fear of him going to drink with his friends.

Presley however denied assaulting his wife saying that he is an activist of gender based violence himself and would never assault his wife.

He said that they have normal disagreements as a couple but he would never assault the mother of his children.

His wife had said that when she refused to give Presley the keys to the car he pulled her violently with her clothes and pushed her with his fists to forcefully get the keys from her.
