Somizi Shares His Late Mother Mary Twala’s Last Moments With Lilian Dube

Media personality Somizi Mhlongo shared a video of his late mother actress Mary Twala’s last moments in hospital with her friend Lilian Dube.

Veteran actress Mary Twala died on the 4th of July 2020 at Parklane Private Hospital in Johannesburg. She was laid to rest on July 9, 2020 in Soweto.

Mary Twala’s career spanned over 5 decades. She was best friends with actress Lilian Dube and the two worked together on Lilian’s comedy show Skwizas.

The video was captioned, “Someone is cutting onions …how can I not choke up watching this..Happy 80th Maa.. On this day my mom was in a semi coma… until mam Lilian walked in and she was in this state..I’ll tell u one day what happened and how… Very hilarious.”
