Somizi Mhlongo has congratulated his long time friend Bonang after She worn the Leisure Fame and Fortune Award of Coolest Online Influencer.
Among the Norminations was Somizi himself who took second place in the award behind Bonang Matheba.
Somizi took to Twitter and wrote the following:
“Congratulations to BonangM for the win, No lies detected here.”

This created an uproar on Twitter with many Somizi Fans suggesting that Somizi deserved the award more than Bonang.
Bonang and Somizi has been friends since the start of their careers however they have had to separate and get back together again recently and this move by Somizi shows that they are in good books again.
