Former Muvhango veteran actor Arthur Mbambo passed on. He played the role of Thandaza Buthelezi’s father on the show.
It is being said that the actor succumbed to lung illness at Johannesburg hospital over the weekend.
Word of Mouth Pictures which is the company that produces Muvhango shared the sad news on social media via a statement.
“It is with great sadness that Word of Mouth Pictures and Muvhango family announces the passing of Mr. Arthur Mbambo”, part of the statement reads.

Last week Muvhango lost another veteran actress, Candy Moloi who played the role of Mukwevho elder Vho-Makhadzi after a long battle with ill health.
