Andile Ramaphose, the son of President Cyril Ramphosa said his business supplying PPEs to taxis is above boad.

This comes after Afriforum approached the Public Protector to investigate the deal where R6 Million was allegedly provided to Andile and his business partners for a pilot involving scholar transport.

Andile said their business has a separate registered trust and is being audited by International Audit firm, PWC. He said he welcomes any investigation into his business dealings.

Andile said as a politically exposed person (PEP), he is extra careful to do only those things that are above board.

The supply of PPEs has been topical in South Africa after the President’s Spokeswoman and her husband Khusela Diko, were embroiled in an overpricing scandal for PPEs worth R125 Million.
