Orlando Pirates Superfan Mandla Mgijimi Cause Of Death Revealed

Yesterday it was reported that one of Orlando Pirates’ die hard fans Mandla Mgijimi Sindane had passed on and the cause of his passing was still unknown.

According to media reports he was found on Tuesday afternoon by his father and it is believed that he passed on overnight. He was staying in Witbank, Mpumalanga.

Many people on social media suspected that he succumbed to a Covid 19 related illness. However according to the family’s spokesperson, he died from a heart attack.

David who is the younger brother of the deceased said, “We are fine despite the fact that Mgijimi is no more, but the way people are celebrating him uplifts our spirits, it really shows that he was loved and he did his part and contributed to the football of our country.”

David added that the doctor issued a medical report and the cause of death is natural, it was a heart attack and not Coronavirus. He will be buried on Sunday in Witbank.
