Mangaliso Ngema Fired After Apologising To Lorraine Moropa

Actor Mangaliso Ngema came out and apologised to fellow actress Lorraine Moropa. He said he is not going to deny any allegations levelled against him.

In a Facebook post Ngema said he will take full responsibility for the s*xual harassment case. He also said he was not only apologising to Lorraine but also to everyone whose harassment was directed to.

The actor also apologised to his family, cast members and Quizzical Pictures. His apology comes after Mangaliso was being accused of s*xual harassment by Lorraine Moropa.

Lorraine revealed that she experienced this harassment during the filming of Lithapo. She also revealed that this was the second time she was reporting the matter.

Mangaliso Ngema was fired from the set after the allegations, he was playing the role of Senzo Hlongwane. Another actress Altovise Lawrence is said to have been harassed by Ngema as well.

Other actresses including Dineo Langa and Masasa Mbangeni came to offer their support to these two actresses and many others who haven’t spoken out. Many actresses have revealed that they suffer such harassments on sets.

Quizzical Pictures released a statement expressing their disappointment. Ngema has appeared in several dramas and soapies including, Generations, Home Affairs, House Keepers, MTV Sugar and Ring of Lies among others.
