Rappers Cassper Nyovest and Nadia Nakai slammed the South African Music Awards for being biased and showing favouritism.
These two joined DJ Maphorisa and Makhadzi in slamming the SAMA’s . The nominees for the album of the year are Big Zulu, K.O, Yanga Chief, DJ Sliqe and Young Stacpt.
Most people questioned why Nadia Nakai was not nominated in the category. Nadia Nakai took to Twitter and this is what she said.
“Listen, I know my Album is good… I’ve been around too long to know that these awards don’t really mean shit.. imma keep moving.. always”.
Cassper Nyovest came and said Nadia Nakai should have been nominated for Best Hip Hop Album at the SAMA’s. He said looking at the nominees, Nadia Nakai deserved to be nominated.
