Paul Mashatile Goes Into Self Isolation And Will Miss His Wife’s Funeral

Paul Mashatile will not be able to attend the funeral of his wife. Mashatile will do the mourning in self isolation.

This is so because a staffer from his office tested positive to Covid-19. Self quarantine will allow him to observe the 14 days quarantine period as per Covid-19 regulations.

ANC National Spokesperson Pule Mabe said Mashatile’s quarantine period will run parallel with his mourning period thus he will bid his wife farewell through virtual platforms.

The family and the Party have done their best to ensure that Covid-19 regulations such as sanitising, wearing masks and social distancing will be followed during the funeral which will be attended by fifty people only.
