Viewers Say Kuli Roberts Deserves Worst Acting Award

According to iHarare Kuli Roberts who is the recent addition to the cast of Mzansi Magic’s the Queen is butchering her role as Mildred.

Some viewers of South African soapies including the Queen are tired of bad acting and they are blaming it on the fact that auditions are no longer held hence mediocre actors and actresses are getting roles they do not deserve.

They proposed the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) to introduce the Worst Acting Category Award in order to deter bad actors and actresses and also as a way to motivate them.

Kuli Roberts’ sister Hlubi Mboya who acted as Nandipha on Isidingo gave a great performance but that does not mean acting flows in the blood.

Mildred the role she plays is of a cougar who is sleeping with Thato. Thato is also sleeping with her daughter. Kuli’s performance as Mildred is unconvincing.

Her facial expressions do not match the dialogue as she wears the same expressions no matter the scene.
