Lerato Chabangu is a South African former football star. He used to play for the national team, ‘Bafana Bafana’, Sundowns and Super Sport United.

@iDiski sits down with Lerato Chabangu at his home in Thembisa where he talks about his football journey.

Chabangu enjoyed a stellar career at Moroka Swallows and Sundowns where he won all trophies on offer.

However, Chabangu’s career has been connected with stories of ill discipline and poor money management. He is accused of having spent much of his money on alcohol leading to the demise of his promising career.

Chabangu revealed the real reason why he left Sundowns after being told that he would never play football again.

Chabangu said he was told by the doctors that he was not going to play football again after he suffered a horrific injury during the game.

The 35 year old is currently trying to turn around his career which he said was not over yet.
