S_exual harassment accusations have followed the newly appointed Sefako Makgato Vice Chancellor Peter Mbati to his new job.
This is after parliament slammed his appointent as he has not been cleared of the allegations.
Prof Thidziambi Tshivhase Phendla reported Mbati to the Commission for Gender equality on 11 May 2012 alleging that she was s_exually harassed on several occassions by Mbati between 2008 and 2010.
The matter was investigated by the commission which found the matter to be convincing and made recommendations to the University of Venda, where he was Vice Chancellor, to discipline him.
The University of Venda Never implemented the recommendations of the Gender Commission report which was issued on 4 December 2014.
