With the easing of the national lockdown in South Africa, PSL teams have been given green light to start training but in smaller groups due to Covid-19.

Gaston Sirino and Thapelo Morena are staying at Mamelodi Sundowns until June 2025. The two players have extended their contracts by five more years. Coach Pitso Mosimane extended his contract with the club by 4 years.

Kermit Erasmus replaces Musona at Mamelodi Sundowns. The club is Keen to sign 29 year old Erasmus if the Zimbabwean footballer Knowledge Musona decides to stay with his Belgian club.

Malawian born Gabadinho Mhango has attracted interests from overseas especially big French teams. The Orlando Pirates striker is set to move to a France to join a club in the French Ligue 1.
