After weeks of speculation South African singer Sjava has confirmed that he has partied ways with the record label Ambitious Entertainment.

The singer-rapper announced yesterday afternoon in a statement posted on Twitter, that he is no longer with the label in which he released three albums and won several awards.

Sjava said in his statement, “I will forever be grateful for everything they have done by giving me an opportunity and a platform when no one did. Ngangokuthi through them ngikwazile ukwakhela umama umuzi ekhaya”.

Sjava also emphasised that he has no problem with anyone and that he has always chosen to remain silent and also that he is not a person of ‘beef’.

He revealed that he took a backseat from the limelight as he wanted to deal with the whole process with respect and dignity as he has learnt to be professional and not to take things personally when it comes to business.

Sjava also asked his fans to continue to love and respect what he does and also not to attack his former label. He joined others who left Ambitious Records such as Emtee, A-Reece and Fifi Cooper.
