Orlando Pirates midfielder Ben Motshwari has tested positive for Covid-19. It is believed that this is the first case to be reported among footballers in South Africa.
Orlando Pirates confirmed the story on their official Twitter page that one of their players Motshwari has tested positive for coronavirus.
It is reported that Motshwari had flue like symptoms and when he went for some tests, they came back positive confirming that he had the virus.
His club, Orlando Pirates, revealed that the soccer star was currently in isolation at his house for the next fourteen days.
Meanwhile, the club also said Motshwari has since notified doctors about all the people he was in contact with so that they get tested as soon as possible
