It has been reported that the widow of Sfiso Ncwane, Ayanda Ncwane is going to start taking legal action against those gospel artists who are singing her late husband Sfiso Ncwane’s songs.

She recently released a statement telling artists to stop using her husband’s songs without her consent. Only churches are allowed to do so.

In the statement she said Sfiso’s brand and catalogue still belonged to Sfiso’s record label which is still under her management.

Therefore musicians who wish to perform Sfiso’s songs must first request her consent from Ncwane communication before they can illegally reproduce or perform his music.

She added that they were disappointed at the disregard and disrespect being shown to Sfiso Ncwane and his legacy by some of the gospel artists.

Ayanda said she will take legal action against those who will continue using Ncwane’s songs without consent.
