President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the food bank in Johannesburg and donations are being made to cushion some of the most vulnerable from the impact of the Coronavirus.

So the Boks captain Siya Kolisi is also doing his bit through his foundation, seeking to provide non perishable foods to those families who are most in need.

He has started with Zwide in Port Elizabeth where he comes from. His Foundation has helped those in the front line in the health care by donating medicals and sanitisers in many hospitals.

Kolisi is planning to expand his initiative throughout all the provinces of South Africa. The foundation is also drilling boreholes to provide clean water.

His foundation is not only donating food but is working with other foundations like the Nelson Mandela foundation to provide masks for the health sector.

His advise was that South Africans must care for one another, to help their neighbours in order to beat Covid-19 as a United front.
