Ms Cosmo sat down with rapper Nasty C, the social distancing way, and got all details about Nasty’s new adventure after signing to Def Jam, what the future holds, lockdown and so much more.

Nasty C said lockdown has changed and affected his schedule, however he took advantage that everyone is home so he decided to drop his new song.

The video which was shot in Durban has been well received by many people across South Africa. The song is a collaboration between Universal and Def Jam from America.

Nasty C said he is recording in his lounge during this lockdown. His third album is titled Zulu Man With Some Power. The title was a result of him embracing his Zulu and African roots.

The rapper added that this was an opportunity to showcase his music as far as America and also to show people overseas that music in Africa was not all about Afro beats.

In the new album Nasty C will collaborate with American rapper T.I . This is not the first time Nasty has collaborated with big names in the industry. He also collaborated with American rapper Big Sean.
