KELLY Khumalo Explains Why She Walked Off Stage Over Senzo Meyiwa Poster

Songstress Kelly Khumalo joined Trending SA for an interview to promote her album ‘Unleash’. She also spoke about why she walked off the stage at an EFF event.

Kelly Khumalo sheds light on how she handles the constant cyber bullying among others. Her first single was released more than 15 years ago.

Since then she has evolved to become one of the successful female artists in South Africa.
Kelly revealed that she suffered depression when she was working on her album, thus she titled it Unleash.

Kelly Khumalo walked off stage at an EFF rally when people started chanting the late Senzo Meyiwa’s name the moment she stepped on the stage. Kelly was dating Meyiwa when he was killed.

She said she walked off the stage because, she is all about light, the people at the rally haboured negative vibes and she was not ready to be part of it.

The songstress has suffered so much cyber bullying with people blaming her for Meyiwa’s death. However she said she has learnt not to dwell on the past for the sake of her children.
