Things aren’t looking good for Sjava ever since Lady Zamar made the r*pe allegations official by reporting to the police as well as publicising on local papers.
Firstly Sjava was removed from the line up of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and will nolonger be performing on the big night.
Multichoice has confirmed to Sowetan Live that Sjava has been stripped of his nominations. He was nominated in the Favourite music artist or group and best song categories.
” Dstv Mzansi Viewer’s Choice Awards has decided to withdraw the nomination of local artist Jabulani Hadebe popularly known as Sjava from this year’s awards. This is a s a result of an ongoing investigation into the local performer by the authorities” – Reggy Moalusi executive head of corporate affairs at Multichoice South Africa.
He went on to say that Sjava will no longer be performing at the event as previously planned and this decision to withdraw did not come lightly
