The corruption case of former President Zuma and French arms company Thales is currently underway at the Pietermaritzburg High Court. The two are facing multiples charges including corruption and racketeering.

Zuma was not in court due to illness, Judge Dhaya Pillay issued a warrant of arrest for former President Jacob Zuma after he failed to appear in court. The judge said that not enough medical evidence was submitted to the court.

However the arrest warrant has been stayed until 6 May and the matter will continue in court on this date as well.
