Born on August 30, 1972 in Soweto, Johannesburg, South African actor Carlo Radebe learnt at Sacred Heart College. He was raised in a Catholic household. After completing his schooling, he pursued a formal education in drama.

He enrolled at the Pretoria Technikon in 1992 and obtained his national diploma in 1995. He started acting in 1980 on the television show Senzekile.

From there, he has acted in various dramas such as, Generations, 7 De Laan, Isibaya, Backstage, Sokhulu and Partners, Ashes to Ashes just to mention a few. He has also made film appearances in How to steal R2m, Inumber Number, Pusha, Presser, Phanda!

He has also had roles in theatre productions such as Hang on in there, Nelson and Pamela Powers to mention a, few. Despite such an illustrious career in 2024, Carlo Radebe is now homeless and struggling to secure acting gigs and has been surviving on R350 government grant.
